This one is designed around the pool table in my game room. I did a [crappy]
proof of concept map for UT, but never really finished it. I build a much
nicer version for UT2003. I ported the map to UT2004 and added a few things.
In this version, the pool table is about twice as big as the CTF version.
This [hopefully] final beta should resolve any lingering issues with the ball stopping at the edge while trying to score. This map requires Car Ball 2.2, and showcases a few of the new features in the latest version. Download CB-Billiards2k4_Beta7.zip - 1079k

Actors / MutatorsUnless otherwise noted, these actors or scripts should work in both UT2003 and UT2004 OverLoad Beta v0.9 (for UT2004 / CarBall 2.7)CarBall OverLoad is an addon for CarBall. Although this is built as a separate gametype, but it plays as a slightly different style of CarBall map. The objective is to move the Energy Ball to the opposing team's PowerCore. The closer the Energy Ball is to the PowerCore, the faster it will drain. Once a PowerCore's energy has been drained, the opposing team will score a point. After a small delay, everything will reset and a new round will begin, just as in a normal CarBall map after a goal is scored. OverLoad is for UT2004 only, and requires that CarBall v2.7 or higher already be installed. Download CarBall OverLoad - 5837k

A scripted texture interface based on the MessageTextureClient. It supports NOTE: If you downloaded a previous version of this actor, please get the current version, which is 1.04. This version fixes an issue where the actor would not work from a dedicated server. Supported Parameters:
%lp - leading player's name
%lf - leading player's frags
%lsp - Last Place player's name (changed from HomerScoreBoard.u)
%lsf - Last Place player's Frags (changed from HomerScoreBoard.u)
%ld - Player with the most deaths
%dc - # of deaths for the player with the most deaths
%lt - Leading Team
%ls - Leading team score
%bc - Ball Carrier
%bal - Team balance string (shows if teams are even or who has
more players.)
%tm0 - Team Name [0 = Team 1, 1 = Team 2, etc.]
%ts0 - Team Score [0 = Team 1, 1 = Team 2, etc.]
%tc0 - Team Player Count [0 = Team 1, 1 = Team 2, etc.]
%tr - Time remaining in match...
New Leader Board variables
%lbn1 - First Place Player Name (any team) - 2nd place player would
be %lbn2, 3rd %lbn3....
%lbs1 - First Place Player Score (any team) - max 3 digits, pad with
spaces.
%lbf1 - First Place Player Score (any team) - no padding
%lbtn1%0 - First Place Player Name (Red team) - 2nd place player
would be %lbtn2%0, 3rd %lbtn3%0....
%lbts1%0 - First Place Player Score (Red team) - max 3 digits, pad

Digit after 2nd % is the team, so
First Place Player Name (Blue team) would be %lbn1%1, etc...
Note: Red = Team 0, Blue = Team 1. UT supported Green as
Team 3 and Gold as Team 4, and the code supports this as
well, even if UT2k3/2k4 out of the box only has two teams. This
should work with any new games types that support 4 teams.

Homer Vehicle Actors v1.00 for UT2004Used to teleport players (and their vehicles) to another location on the map. You can only teleport between VehicleTeleporter actors (you cannot, for example, teleport between a VehicleTeleporter and a Teleporter actor). You can, however, have the teleportation be "one way". To make a VehicleTeleporter connect to another VehicleTeleporter on the same level, simply enter the Tag of the destination VehicleTeleporter into the URL property.
